A long overdue announcement of a well-deserved appointment to the ranks of Uppercut Deluxe Ambassador.

From the age of 14, Ben Boyer immersed himself in the world of barbering. First as an apprentice, then as a rising talent under a master barber near his hometown in Albi.

At 19, with no savings or guarantors, he bought a small mixed salon in Saint-Juéry and transformed it into his own barbershop. In January 2015, the doors of Le Coupeur officially opened. A massive leap for someone so young, driven by skill, conviction, and ambition.

Le Coupeur is where tradition meets modern craft. Ben shaped the space to blend time-honored barbering techniques with influences drawn from vintage design, rock culture, surf, and moto. It’s a shop built with intention, character, and a clear point of view.

Over the years, Ben expanded the experience even further, opening a specialty coffee shop next door. Le Coupeur became a hub for locals who want more than a quick service, but a place to slow down and connect.

Le Coupeur is now well known for precision, old-school workmanship, and uncompromising quality. While Ben delivers modern looks with ease, his real strength lies in classic barbering - clean lines, deliberate technique, deep respect for the craft, and an unrivalled taper game.
