The Textured Pomp is a modern take on a classic style.
It’s pretty obvious why this cut is so popular for men at the moment, the cut has all the best elements of a clean classic look, but brings attitude, personality, and individuality to the wearer.
It may also help that Brad Pitt wore a variation of this style in the hit World War 2 film "Fury"...
This example of a Textured Pomp is paired with a tight low skin fade and then dressed with Uppercut Deluxe Featherweight.
There really is no better product better suited to create this style than Featherweight.
Featherweight is a fiber paste that offers a firm hold and low shine, making it an extremely versatile men’s hair product. This paste gets its name from being a lighter wax, that packs plenty of punch.

How to Style a Textured Pomp with Fade
We’re going to assume that your hair is difficult to work with – if you’re one of the lucky ones and your hair sits naturally in position, skip straight to grabbing your tin!
As always, before styling your hair, jump in the shower and give it a wash using Uppercut Deluxe Degreaser followed with Everyday Conditioner. Degreaser is a revolutionary men's grooming product designed to completely remove any trace of styling products, while our Conditioner will leave your hair looking and feeling healthy. Once washed, give your hair a thorough towel dry.
Take your hairdryer and set it to medium heat. Begin to dry your hair, directing it backward using a Quiff Roller.
To create volume in your pomp, use your Quiff Roller to create tension in your fringe, then hit it with your hairdryer, directing the airflow upwards.
Next, take a fingernail-sized scoop of Featherweight from the tin and thoroughly spread it through your hands. Remember, start small - you can always add more as you need!
Begin to rake your fingers through your hair, working from the back to the front. Take your CB11 Rake Comb and comb your hair back into shape. If needed, apply a little more product.
To finish, gently ruffle your hair. Pick and pinch at strands to emphasize the 'pieced out' look and highlight the texture.
And there you have it – the perfect Textured Pomp.
