What’s been your highlight of your time at Foot Locker?
The Marble Arch store launch was a highlight because it was so busy and the energy in the venue was electric. Charlie Sloth on the decks and my 3-chair pop swamped with models, actors, DJs and Foot Locker hierarchy waiting as long as necessary!

 Any funny moments?
A special and funny moment for me was walking in to Marble Arch on the night before opening and they surprised me with a giant sign with my branding on it that was going to be in the centre of the store! I was like are you serious?!

How did your team find it?
In total four of my team have been involved and we’ve all found it liberating because of the different environments and especially meeting lots of different people. Every day brings new challenges and we’ve all thrived off it. Busy doesn’t even come close to describing it!

What’s been the most popular cut?
It has to be the skin fade! Whether it be a tourist, someone from Milan, from Liverpool to London the skin fade remains top of the cuts.

Any challenges?
Hairdryers!!! Everywhere we go the dryers always cause problems for the electrical teams. We’ve shorted a few circuits along the way!

What sort of feedback have you had from customers?
The feedback has been immense! The team are so good and beaming smiles from the clients that leave the stand are proof enough for me. Everyone takes the shops details and gets selfies with their barbers. Everybody gets a 5-star service and the clients can tell. In London over the 2 and 1/2 weeks people came back for 2 sometimes 3 cuts! Crazy!

Buy any shoes when you were there?
Ah man, it’s an occupational hazard for me being a sneaker head!

  • Adidas Yeezy butters
  • Redbox Classic Icons Foot Locker Exclusive
  • Nike Air T
  • Nike Air Tune 1’s
  • Nike air 97 Foot Locker exclusives

I think I’ve forgotten a pair too...oh dear!
