Shindig London Recap

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again. Uppercut Deluxe is a family, and the UK really showed up to show their love for barbering and our community at Shindig – London 2024.

2 years after the original Shindig event, barber ambassadors Sean ‘Spanky’ Caudill and Mike ‘Pugsly’ Conti flew in from the states to share their old school American barbering techniques on stage to approximately 250 barbers.

Supported by the incredibly talented Ben Boyer (Le Coupeur – France) and Jimmy Morrison (Jimmy’s Barbershop – Australia) the stage saw a variety of barber and styling demonstrations, as well as stories and memories from a spectrum of barbering experiences.

In the other room the beers were flowing from our new friends at Blondies London, fresh coffee from the wonderful guys at Dark Arts Coffee and tacos by the talented Black Butter Social Dining. Nobody left hungry or thirsty that’s for sure!

As well as a day of eating and drinking to the heart’s content, exclusive merchandise was screen printed right in front of you by the guys at Thirsty Merchandise and AS Colour, and non-stop traditional tattoos were served by Matt Weaver and ‘K Beff’.

It was an absolute blast to have the UK Uppercut Deluxe family all together under one roof and to welcome members from all over Europe. It really was a day to remember.
