What is Salt Spray?

Often referred to as ‘Sea Salt Spray’, our Salt Spray was inspired by customers that came into the shop straight from the surf. Thanks to the salty sea water, their hair sat perfectly primed for styling with just the right amount of hold and shine.

Intentionally designed as a multi-function product, Salt Spray aims to incorporate the ‘fresh from the beach’ feeling, while combining it with modern ingredients to aid the hair styling process.

Salt Spray contains a lightweight hold complex that is finely dispersed through a mist producing applicator. This applicator plays an important part in recreating the wave washed feeling. Rather than traditional pumps that drench the hair, the mist applicator ensures each strand of hair is individually coated, while the rattle remixes the ingredients for even dispersion.

This coat of product gently disrupts the hair cuticle with a fine layer of salt, allowing the hairs to lightly grab onto each other to create a natural finish.

The effect of these ingredients is amplified when exposed to heat, making Salt Spray a great option as a pre-styling primer. The hold complex allows the user to build volume while maintaining control, leaving the hair perfectly positioned and ready for a finishing product to be applied.
