What is Styling Powder?
Texture and Styling Powders are relatively new to the barbering sphere but have increased in popularity for their ease of use and ability to create looks with a natural finish.
Styling powder is incredibly quick and easy to use. To style, all you need to do is add a dusting to the hair and then rake throughout, shaping the hair into place.
As the name suggests, Styling Powder, often referred to as 'Texture Powder' is designed create texture. However, it is also great for adding lightweight hold to natural looking hair styles.
Texture or 'Styling' powders will work well in any hair type but excels in shorter, fine, or thinning hair since they give the cuticle layer a thicker and fuller appearance.

This would be a five-star rating if not for the difficulty I had in washing out this product. Admittedly, I used a decent amount (10+ shakes throughout my hair) of the powder to achieve the style I was going for, but the staying power was pretty wild. Took about three full washes with shampoo to even begin to feel like I got the product out. Now, that all being said it was wonderful to style my hair with. It was easy to run my hands through and rework during the day I used it, but it was pretty gummed up after one sleep and was not as pleasant the second day. I've not used it again. Waiting until I figure out a better way to try and clean it out, then I'll give it another shot.

This stuff is revolutionary. I have to buy a 3 pack next, because my girlfriend likes it and wants to use it every once in a while depending on her look. For me, it’s an everyday product. I keep a shoulder length hair style that I like to keep pushed back. This powder adds reworkable volume. My hair is very thick, and rarely I will reapply a small amount on my lunch break, after my initial morning shake. Generally it’s just shake, work in, and go for the day!
