Featherweight gets its name from being a lighter paste, that packs a punch. With low shine and firm hold, this is one of the most versatile products in the Uppercut Deluxe range.

This fiber paste was originally designed for the no-nonsense kinda guy, the guy who wants a product that can do it all. Featherweight is a light paste that has plenty of tack, which makes it perfect for creating volume and lift in styles that need a boost. Topped off with a low shine, Featherweight is perfect for creating textured, pieced out styles.

Apply to dry hair that has been washed beforehand with Uppercut Deluxe Everyday Shampoo and Conditioner.

Start by working a small amount of product into your palms and spreading evenly across both hands. Apply a small amount to the fringe area using fingertips then work from the back of your head forwards making sure to spread product evenly throughout your hair.

Mold your hair into whatever shape you like adding more product for more control. Take a step back, and admire.

Pretty soon after finishing the formulation for Deluxe Pomade, the guys quickly realized that was just the start of things to come for the Uppercut Deluxe story.

Different hair types, just as much as styles, need different products to look good. Featherweight has been formulated to suit shorter, textured styles without being shiny or wet looking. It is perfect for guys with finer type hair, while being strong enough to tackle thicker styles.

Put simply, Featherweight does something no other barbering products do. It locks in a short style all day and washes out just as easily at the end of it. It goes on easy, shapes quickly and stays strong as long as you want it to.

Its formulation is water based, meaning no ugly residue, while still smelling clean and fresh.

Due to a global ingredient restriction, and to maintain our high standards with cosmetic compliance, the original Featherweight formula has been slightly modified.

The new Featherweight formula performs almost identically to the original one with the same hold, shine, tack and flex. We’ve taken this as an opportunity to improve on the old formula, making it a little easier to apply but keeping everything, you know and love.

Featherweight is a unique fibre paste designed to create texture, accentuate natural shine and provide a strong hold.

Featherweight contains ingredients that are activated through friction. When Featherweight is warmed in the hands, ingredients are activated allowing the product to begin stretch and cobweb. Once applied to hair, the fibrous ingredients create space between the individual hairs to enhance texture, while the tack begins to piece sections of hair out.

The slow drying element of the formula allows the product to remain mailable for longer, giving ample time for the user to perfect their style.

The lightweight nature of the hold in Featherweight means it can provide intense control to styles with volume, without weighing the hair down.
